Kuljak Lacrosse Club has sadly informed us that William (Bill) Whiteman has passed away.
Born on 22nd August in 1921, Bill has been a Kuljak member since 1978
Bill was introduced to the game of lacrosse when he watched his father, uncles and brother play for the Midland Club.
He played for the Guildford club in 1934 then joined Midland in 1935.
Bill Whiteman was instrumental in establishing todays Bayswater Club in 1939.
WALA State Team member in 1949,1950,1953 and 1960.
WALA State selector and coach.
Father of past WALA President & Life Member Ross Whiteman.
Grandfather of David and Mark Whiteman.
