The Kuljak lacrosse Club wishes to advise that Mr Murray Refern passed away last Sunday the 17th of July after a long illness.

Murray’s lacrosse life commenced in 1952 at the age of 12 when he joined the South Perth Lacrosse Club with other Como Primary school mates.
27 years later when South Perth ceased Murray continued his lacrosse connection as a Referee and Administrator. He helped establish the Canning Club.
When the club folded he spent 4 years with Subiaco and then 4 years at Phoenix Lacrosse Clubs.
He refereed at state and international level and managed Australian and WALA teams.
Murray joined the Kuljak Lacrosse club in 1971.
Life Member of WALA/LacrosseWA and ALRAWA.
