Lacrosse WA was one of ten State Sporting Associations invited to a media photo shoot with the Minister for Sport and Recreation today. Forty-seven State Sporting Associations (SSAs) will share in $7.2million in funding over the next three years to help develop sport and recreation from grassroots to elite levels. Sport and Recreation Minister Terry Waldron made the announcement about the Organisation Sustainability Program (OSP) funds today at nib Stadium, where he was joined by representatives from ten of the forty-seven sports receiving the funds - ranging from football and hockey through to lacrosse, skateboarding and surfing.

“This money will help State Sporting Associations - the peak bodies of each sport - stay sustainable by delivering a variety of activities and opportunities that address community need, developing talent and enriching sporting culture, and encouraging maximum participation,” Mr Waldron said.

Carlyn Blair represented Lacrosse WA in her u18 Western Australian Uniform.
