About the club

Founded in 1938 by local shopkeeper Harold Clifton, Wembley Lacrosse Club has been one of Perth's great sporting institutions for nearly 90 years. What started as a handful of Scout troop members with hickory sticks has grown into a thriving club fielding Men's and Women's teams from Modcrosse through to State League. The club is home to the Wembley Wolves (men's) and Wembley Waves (women's), both playing out of Floreat Oval. Wembley is an approved KidSport club, making it easier for families to get their kids involved. They genuinely believe the sport should be accessible to everyone, from players who've never seen a lacrosse stick to those chasing a State title.
