2015 ALA National Conference

The ALA will be hosting the third National Conference in Western Australia in conjunction with Lacrosse WA.

The underlying theme for the conference is in ‘Sharing Best Practice’ in Coaching, Officiating and Club Development.

The streamed approach ensures that there are great topics for everyone with the coaching stream further split into some men's and women's sessions along with both lecture and practical based presentations.

We have confirmed many outstanding conference presenters who are current and former National Team coaches and officials, along with some of the best players in the game talking about how they have developed their skill sets.

To complement the lacrosse knowledge we will also have experts from the wider sports and marketing industry delivering keynote presentations.

The club development stream is being offered for the first time in 2015 and is shaping up to be a great program tackling some contemporary issues in Club management around engaging social media, marketing your club, recruiting new members and best practice presentations.

The Officials stream will feature a series of presentations and workshops aimed to raise the standard, profile and recruiting of officials in lacrosse.
