Alkimos "Pirates" Lacrosse Club
The Alkimos Pirates are seeking expressions of interest for the position of a Women’s coach in 2021. The club has had a women’s team for 3 years and we are looking for an experienced player and/or coach to bring their experience and knowledge to the club and help us achieve greater success moving forward.
What we have:
- A Division 2 Women’s team
- A coordinator for the women’s role to support the team and coach
- Game day and training support from club members and former players
- A really positive attitude and a united “Whole club” mentality
- New players (less than 2 years’ experience) and senior players (10+ years’ experience)
What we need:
- A coach with playing experience is desired
- Free to coach at Training on Tuesday / Thursday nights
- Available for game day on Sunday
- Coaching experience is desired
- Current Working with Children’s Check is needed (can be arranged if you don’t already have one)
- Eager and enthusiastic to teach the basics of lacrosse and promote a “team” culture
The Alkimos Pirates have had a strong 3 years as a club and have experienced great success with the men’s team and the juniors program. We are now fully committed to improving the experience of our female members and working towards a successful future for those involved. Wanneroo-Joondalup Lacrosse Club
Wanneroo-Joondalup Lacrosse is seeking expressions of interest for a Women’s State League Head Coach to help guide us into an exciting future. We have a great balance of experience and young up and coming players. As we look to rebuild our whole women's club coming out of COVID, the successful applicant will play a critical role in how we achive this. Successful applicants will be able to discuss terms and conditions with the relevant director prior to appointment.
