2021 Officiating Program for Junior Games - Induction Day
The LWA Officiating Program for Junior Games has been devised to provide a safe, structured pathway for junior and senior lacrosse players in WA to gain accreditation as lacrosse umpires and referees officiating Junior Games.
It is a joint initiative by the Junior Lacrosse Committee, Women’s Umpires and ALRA(WA).
When: Sunday 28 March, 2021
Where: Subiaco Lacrosse Club, Rosalie Park, Shenton Park
Time: 9.00am - 1pm
Bring: Water, sunblock, pen, whistle, lacrosse stick.

Morning Tea will be provided.
Topics to be covered include:
- Qualities of an effective lacrosse official
- Pre, during & post-game routines and protocols
- Scenarios, Junior Rule Variations, etc.
- Career pathways for lacrosse officials
Please note the following:
- Current Phase 2 & 3 officials are expected to attend this event, as there will be advanced officiating sessions during the day.
- Current Phase 1, 2 or 3 officials must maintain their accreditation annually to be entitled to payment.
- Junior members must be two years out of the age group they're officiating.
