Expression of Interest for 2024 WA Men's State "A" Team - Field Head Coach and Team Manager

Due to the high volume and quality of players attending this year's Senior Men's State Team trials, LWA is thrilled to be fielding a second Men's Team - Team "A".  The A Team will be competing in the main pool against WA, Vic, SA and Qld. 

Lacrosse WA is seeking suitable candidates to lead, develop and support the 2024 WA Senior Men's State A Teams.  The LA Senior National Championship will be held in Perth, West Australia, venue Wanneroo-Joondalup Lacrosse Club, 5-9th June, 2024.

The age of head coaches for state teams shall be 25 years old at time of application or have considerable high-level coaching experience.

Complete the Selection Statement.

Send the PD, SS and Working With Children card to executive@lacrossewa.com.au

Coaches will be required to:

Enrol and complete the online coaching course Club Coach - LWA (thinkific.com)

Complete the Sport Australia: Community Coaching General Principles Course (https://www.sportaus.gov.au/coaches_and_officials/coaches).

ASC Concussion Management On-line Training https://www.concussioninsport.gov.au/coaches_and_support_staff

Head Coaches and Team Managers will be required to complete the following:

  • Anti-Doping Fundamentals 
  • Annual Update 2024
  • Introduction to Illicit Drugs in Sport
  • Ethical Decision Making
  • Competition Manipulation and Sports Betting
  • Play By The Rules Child Protection and Safeguarding.
  • Play By The Rules Harassment and Discrimination.
