2021 Sixes National Lacrosse Series

Lacrosse WA is extremely excited to announce that we will be hosting a new format event called Sixes National Lacrosse Series (NLS).  The NLS is a unified localised Series that will provide a higher level of lacrosse for WA U15, U18 and Senior players.  Under the NLS banner LWA will host the NLS West.

The innovation of this series was a response to the cancellation of all Lacrosse Australia events due to Covid-19 and in lieu of sending representative teams to U18’s and Senior’s this year.

On the back of World Lacrosse’s announcement that Lacrosse has been granted Full Recognition by the International Olympic Committee and with World Sixers playing a predominate role in the development and growth of lacrosse, the 2021 NLS will serve as a pathway for our High Performance athletes.  The series will also ensure our players have the training and competition opportunities as well as the social interactions that come with representative teams.

The 2021 NLS will be held at the end of the school holidays from Friday 8^th to Sunday 10^th of October.  Venue TBC.

Senior Men and Women

For 2021, the U15 boy’s and girl’s competing teams will be composed of players from all clubs with new names for each team.  Stay tuned for details of our competition to name the U15 representative teams for 2021.

Details for U18 and Senior team composition to be released shortly.

U15 Age groupings - Must be a minimum of 12 years old and under 15 years on the 01/01/2021.

U18 Age Groupings - Must be a minimum of 15 years old and under 18 years on the 01/01/2021.
