Expression of Interest for 2024 U18 WA Boy's and Girl's State Team - Team Manager & Assistant Coach

Lacrosse WA is seeking suitable candidates to support the Head Coach of the 2024 WA U18 Girl's and Boy's State Teams. The LA U18 National Championship will be held from the 29th of March to the 2nd of April, venue TBC.

Age Guidelines:

The age of Team Managers for state teams shall be 25 years old at time of application or have considerable Managing experience.

The age of Assistant Coaches for state teams be at least 21 years of age at time of application.

Complete the Selection Statement.

Send the PD and SS and Working With Children card to executive@lacrossewa.com.au

Applications close Monday 23rd October, 2024.

Team Managers and Assistant Coaches will be required to:

Complete Play by the Rules (https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/login/index.php) Courses in:

  • Child Protection and Safeguarding.
  • Harassment and Discrimination.

Additional Sport Integrity Australia courses to be completed once appointed:

  • Anti-Doping Fundamentals
  • Annual Update 2024
  • Ethical Decision Making
  • Introduction to Illicit Drugs in Sport
  • Competition Manipulation and Sports Betting
  • Coaches on-line course

Assistant Coaches will also be required to:

Enrol and complete the online coaching course Club Coach - LWA (thinkific.com)

Complete the Sport Australia: Community Coaching General Principles Course (https://www.sportaus.gov.au/coaches_and_officials/coaches).
